Casablanca Drivers have released “Garage,” the third single from their upcoming album. The Corsican band fuses raw garage rock with an electronic pulse, delivering danceable and high-energy that feels both nostalgic and new.
“The song moves between softness and intensity, driven by strong synth themes and expressive vocals. With its revival electro-clash vibe, it taps into a sound that echoes some of your favourite bands,” explain members Nicolas Paoletti and Alexandre Diani.
Produced by NIT (Sébastien Tellier, Cola Boyy) and mixed by Ash Workman (Metronomy, Baxter Dury), “Garage” maintains a linear production, focusing on momentum and intensity. The song builds tension through impact and repetition, anchored by melody but powered by physical drive.
The accompanying video continues the band’s bold visual direction. Shot by Simran Kaur, it reimagines Casablanca Drivers as three young women moving through everyday life in East London. The concept flips the band’s identity with a simple question: what if they weren’t a Parisian boys’ band, but a London-based girl power trio? Kaur captures the grit of British streets, matching the track’s electro-clash energy with a DIY, glitch-core, early 2010s internet nostalgia feel.
The single artwork comes from legendary French artist and director Alex Courtès, known for iconic work with Daft Punk, Air, and Cassius, including the design of Daft Punk’s helmets.
“Garage” follows previous single “Plastic,” which is currently sitting at #20 on the Netherlands Alternative/Indie chart, signaling growing traction beyond France.
